Tiger Centipede Color Morph

Scolopendra polymorpha SW Tiger Centipedes are a great beginner's species. They are colorful and like a slightly moist substrate despite being a desert species. These are venomous but not considered more painful than a bee sting.

This listing is for transitional coloration specimens which tend to be a combination of standard coloration tigers and blue tigers. Present ones measure around 2+ or so inches. They average 4 to 5 inches at maturity though larger specimens have been reported.

(Note: video below reflects a tiger centipede that has more typical adult coloration with higher gloss and reddish terminal legs. Photo on this page does not represent the specimen for sale, but is just an example of a color morph type we sometimes sell.)
