Spirostreptus species 1

Available, but we're just letting them put some size on before listing them publicly.

Spirostreptus sp. #1 is a round millipede that coils itself three dimensionally. This configuration is referred to as "globular" in contrast to the more familiar disc-shaped coilers. This species has been in the hobby for years, but is rarely mentioned or offered. It seems to grow to about 6 inches though one German website lists them as reaching 8 inches.

Coloration might be described as melonistic bands of cantaloupe and honeydew (I couldn't resit the play on words.).
