Orthoporus ornatus gold

Currently we are offering a special on these. If you order two we will send a 3rd one for free if you write in the order notes "free blemished specimen." And so if you order 2 and write that, we will send a 3rd specimen free of charge with "cosmetic" (not health-bearing) blemishes. This basically means there is a black spot or band that will more than likely disappear through a molt or two.

This listing is for the gold form of Orthoporus ornatus. These specimens have alternating bands of yellow (gold) and brownish-orange. They are one of the largest species in the hobby and commonly available as rather large specimens. They are surface active in the tanks, generally very hardy and colorful as millipedes go.

Millipedes require a substrate of mixed organic matter (see related products, below).

Measuring at around 3 or more inches and grow to 6+ or so inches.
