Thank you for visiting the number one resource for live, pet bugs in the United States. Through active participation in a hobby we love, we are grateful to have had the opportunity to support our nation's museums, universities and various institutions that also dedicate themselves to fostering an appreciation for insects and other arthropods. We do not import or export, but we are happy to attempt to direct you towards what you are looking for. We are true bug generalists, interested in everything from springtails and pseudoscorpions on up to goliath birdeater tarantulas and native rhino beetles. For more information about what I do and why I do it, please visit my About Us page.
You may be considering the purchase of live animals, not lifeless trinkets. Please review our Terms and Conditions page before you place your order. We offer a 2-3 day shipping service (Postal Service Priority Mail) for a few cold/hot tolerant species, but REQUIRE faster "Postal Service Express Mail" service for all others at $27. If you take the cheap way out, your bugs may arrive dead. Tarantulas and millipedes are weather sensitive and require express shipping for live arrival guarantee (LAG). Isopods are heat intolerant and require Express Mail for LAG if your high temps are forecasted to be more than 80 degrees F. No living specimen is guarnateed to arrive with priority mail if the night before delivery in your area is forecasted to be below 34 degrees. Choose express mail if you want a live guarantee in cold weather. Note that a $12 minimum order is required in busy months (like April and May).
Direct credit card processing is available, as well as PayPal. Please contact me if you'd like to arrange payment by money order, check or other options. Shipping days are discussed on the Terms and Conditions page. If you want us to consider alternate or specific shipping days, feel free to Contact Us.
